أكد جويل ماتيب، أن فريقه ليفربول الإنجليزي يلعب من أجل الوصول للنهائي في كل مسابقة، متحدثًا عن مواجهة الليلة في الدوري الأوروبي أمام لاسك لينز.

ويلتقي ليفربول ولاسك لينز النمساوي، ضمن مباريات الجولة الأولى لدور المجموعات في الدوري الأوروبي، مساء اليوم الخميس.

وقال ماتيب في تصريحات لشبكة “سكاي سبورتس” في ألمانيا: “نحن نلعب في كل مسابقة للوصول إلى النهائي”.

وأضاف: “لا يزال هناك طريق طويل لنقطعه، لاسك لينز، الخطوة الأولى، مع الجودة التي لدينا في الفريق، أنا واثق من أننا قادرون على تحقيق النجاح”.

وأكد ماتيب: “نريد أيضًا الفوز بجميع مبارياتنا في الدوري الأوروبي، نريد أن نبدأ في لينز، لا يتم لعب هذه المباراة بنصف مجهود، بل بنسبة 100%، نريد للحصول على النقاط الثلاث، إذا لم نركز فسوف نعاقب”.

وبشأن مسيرته مع ليفربول، والتي بدأت بعد انضمامه من شالكه في عام 2016 أفاد ماتيب: “بالطبع، كان شالكه هو نادي الشباب الخاص بي، كمشجع له، كان شرفًا أن ألعب هناك”.

وواصل: “لقد أتيحت لي الفرصة للقيام بذلك لفترة طويلة وهنا في ليفربول، لا يمكنك الرحيل ببساطة”.

وأشار ماتيب: “أشعر أيضًا براحة لا تصدق هنا في حياتي الخاصة، أعتقد أنه من المرغوب فيه عدم تغيير الأندية طوال الوقت، ولكن على الجميع أن يقرروا بأنفسهم، على أية حال، أجد الاتساق مفيدًا”.

أفادت تقارير صحفية أن نادي مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي قد يكون متورطًا في انتهاك قواعد الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا” فيما يتعلق بالتعامل مع لاعبه جادون سانشو.

ويشهد وضع سانشو توترًا في مانشستر يونايتد، بعد القرار باستبعاده من تدريبات الفريق الأول والتدرب بشكل منفرد.

ووقع ذلك بعد قول سانشو بأنه “كبش فداء”، وذلك عقب تصريحات المدرب إريك تين هاج بأنه قرر استبعاده من مباراة سابقة أمام آرسنال، بسبب أدائه في التدريبات.

بعد ذلك، تم إجبار سانشو على التدرب بمفرده مع طاقم اللياقة البدنية في مانشستر يونايتد، واتضح بعد ذلك أنه مُنع أيضًا من استخدام جميع مرافق الفريق الأول بالنادي، ويشمل ذلك غرفة طعام الفريق ويضطر لتناول وجباته مع لاعبي أكاديمية النادي.

The election is scheduled for Monday and, being the only nominee, Khan is expected to be voted in unopposed.The chairman has to be elected from among those on the PCB’s board of governors. Eighty-year-old Khan and Najam Sethi, who has headed and been ousted from the board several times over the past year, were added to the board of governors earlier this month by acting chairman Muhammad Sair Ali. The PCB recently reworked its constitution, changing the structure of the governing board and making the appointment of the chairman more democratic.The election should, in theory at least, bring to an end the long-running uncertainty over the leadership of the PCB. There had been multiple changes of leadership in the PCB since May 2013, when Zaka Ashraf became the first elected PCB chairman. The Islamabad High Court termed those elections ‘dubious’ and Sethi was put in charge by the government. Ashraf and Sethi were then alternately reappointed and sacked from the post several times.Khan’s previous stint as PCB chief began in December 2003. “بدأت أخشى ألا نتمكن من التوصل لاتفاق للعقد الجديد يا محمد، عرضهم الأخير لا يزال بعيدًا جدًا عما نريده”، كان ذلك في يونيو 2022، حيث مكالمة هاتفية بين رامي عباس وكيل محمد صلاح، واللاعب الذي يُعد واحدًا من ضمن الأفضل في العالم.

رامي عباس أطلع محمد صلاح على المحادثات الجارية مع نادي ليفربول، بشأن العقد الجديد، حيث كان عباس في دبي، في حين أن صلاح كان بمسقط رأسه مصر، في إجازة عقب موسم ناجح مع ليفربول، توج خلاله هدافًا للدوري الإنجليزي، وأفضل لاعب من رابطة المحترفين أيضًا.

Sunday’s meeting was a show of strength, with Srinivasan sending out a strong message days after the court granted the Mudgal inquiry committee a two-month extension to file its corruption report and said that Srinivasan was barred from BCCI duties until then.If N Srinivasan is allowed to contest the elections, he could be elected unanimously again•AFP

It is understood that 18 members, including five of the six voters from the east zone, were present in Chennai.
