تحدث وليد الركراكي، المدير الفني لفريق الوداد الرياضي المغربي، عن مواجهة الأهلي في نهائي دوري أبطال إفريقيا، مشيرًا إلى أن المارد الأحمر يمتلك كل شيء.

الأهلي يستعد لمواجهة نظيره الوداد البيضاوي يوم 30 مايو الجاري في المغرب، بنهائي دوري أبطال أفريقيا، والذي يخوضه الأحمر للمرة الثالثة على التوالي.

وقال الركراكي في تصريحات له خلال المؤتمر الصحفي عقب مباراة أولمبيك خريبكة، إن تتويج فريقه بدوري أبطال إفريقيا، أمام الأهلي المصري، سيكون مفاجأة بالنظر لقيمة المنافس وخبرته القارية.

وتابع: “سنواجه فريقًا كبيرًا، شارك في 15 نهائيًا في بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا، ومدرب يلعب النهائي الثالث على التوالي، وفريق يمتلك جمهورًا كبيرًا وهو المرشح للتتويج”.

وأضاف: “الأهلي يضغط علينا تقريبًا منذ 15 يوم وهم لديهم ميزانية كبيرة تفوقنا بثلاثة أضعاف ويستطيعون شراء لاعب قيمته مليون يورو”.

Writing on Twitter, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has shared some news on West Ham United and their transfer plans involving Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

Claret & Hugh first reported that strengthening the central defensive area was among manager David Moyes’ main summer transfer priorities.

In recent days, Sky Sports also lifted the lid on West Ham talks for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, with the player said to be open to a London Stadium switch.

As per Sheth, writing on his social media, West Ham are also in talks to sign Serie A powerhouse Milenkovic as fellow centre-half target Zouma looks like a ‘tough deal’ to complete.

The Verdict: Sound alternative…

Milenkovic definitely comes as a viable alternative to Zouma going by his exploits for Fiorentina last campaign and praise from his teammates.

Averaging an impressive 86% pass accuracy out from defence over the 2020/2021 Serie A season, perhaps indicating a cool head on young shoulders, only one Irons player (Issa Diop) managed more blocks on average per 90 (2.1) compared to Milenkovic (WhoScored).

He has also been called ‘extraordinary’ by Spanish right-back Pol Lirola (SOSFantacalcio via x-sport.news), leaving little wonder why West Ham have identified him as a target.

Charlie Eccleshare, journalist for The Athletic, says Milenkovic could even leave Italy for as little as €15 million (£12.8m) this summer, with the player himself ‘keen to play’ Premier League football (Twitter).

Taking all this into account, swooping for the Serbian seems like a no-brainer.

وتابع: “مشاعري قاسية، كانت آخر مباراة لي مع ريال مدريد، لكني سعيد للغاية، ليس يوم حزين بالنسبة لي، أرحل مع الكثير من السعادة والفخر، ممتنًا للجماهير والليالي الساحرة التي عشتها في سانتياجو برنابيو”.

Aston Villa journalist Luke Hatfield believes that the club are unlikely to secure the signing of Todd Cantwell from Norwich City this summer, having already signed Emiliano Buendia from the Canaries.

Villa kicked off an aggressive summer of recruitment by bringing the Argentine playmaker in at the beginning of the transfer window, and have followed it up with a swoop for Danny Ings.

Villa have been touted as a potential suitor for Cantwell too, with Jack Grealish seemingly on the verge of making a move to Manchester City.

He is set to leave for a fee of around £100m, and he will need replacing, with the Norwich winger seen as a potential target.

Cantwell made 33 appearances in the Championship last season and scored six goals, while also laying on seven assists.

But Hatfield thinks that a deal to secure his signature will be remarkably difficult for Villa to complete, as they have already raided the Carrow Road club once this summer.

Cantwell has a contract until 2022 with the newly-promoted club, and is valued at £19.8m by Transfermarkt.

Hatfield said: “Let’s not forget, they already went for Buendia from Norwich. I’m not saying it’s impossible that you’d go and sign two players from a single team over a window, but it’s not very common.”

وأضاف: “لا أستطيع تغيير طريقة اللعب كليًا ولا اللاعبين كثيرًا، سندخل عناصر جديدة بشكل تدريجي، ووارد أن نضم ثنائيًا جديدًا للمعسكر، حمدي فتحي وعمرو السولية، وياسر إبراهيم ومحمود الونش، اجتهدوا كثيرًا، وسنحاول استثمار الفوز في المباريات المقبلة”.

وتابع: “حافظنا على الكرة في الثلث الأخير بسبب قوة المنتخب الغيني، لذلك اعتمدنا على الكرات الطويلة ولدينا عناصر مثل محمد صلاح ومحمود حسن تريزيجيه وإبراهيم عادل يمتلكون السرعات”.

وواصل: “محمد صلاح من أهم أسباب نجاح المعسكر، والروح جيدة، كما أن اللاعب قام بمجهود كبير في مواجهة غينيا، وتحامل على نفسه وشارك”.
