حرص محمود الخطيب، رئيس النادي الأهلي، على متابعة المران الرئيسي للفريق الأول لكرة القدم قبل مواجهة المريخ السوداني، في بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

ويلتقي الأهلي مع المريخ السوداني في الساعة التاسعة من مساء بعد غد السبت باستاد الأهلي we السلام، في المباراة المؤجلة من الجولة الأولى لدور المجموعات للبطولة القارية.

ووفقًا لموقع الأهلي الرسمي، فإن الخطيب حرص على الاجتماع باللاعبين والجهاز الفني للتأكيد على الدعم الكامل والمساندة لهم في هذه المرحلة المهمة، من خوض المنافسات الكروية، على الصعيدين المحلي والقاري.

وخلال اللقاء الذي جرى، أشار رئيس الأهلي إلى ثقته الكاملة في كل عناصر المنظومة سواء لاعبين أو جهاز فني وإداري وطبي، وأن الجميع سوف يبذل قصارى جهده لتحقيق طموحات النادي وجماهيره وأعضائه على كل المستويات.

وطالب الكابتن الخطيب لاعبي الأهلي بعدم الالتفات إلى أي عثرات سابقة، والنظر دائمًا للأمام.

وأكد الخطيب أن اللاعبون قادرون على تصويب كافة الأمور، لأنهم على درجة عالية من الكفاءة ويملكون القدرات البدنية والفنية، فضلًا عن جمهور كبير يدعمهم ويقف خلف ناديه.

جدير بالذكر أن الأهلي حقق الفوز على فاركو بأربعة أهداف لهدف خلال المباراة التى جمعتهما مساء أمس الأول، الثلاثاء، باستاد الإسكندرية في الجولة الحادية عشرة لبطولة الدوري الممتاز.

أوضح نادي المريخ منافس الأهلي في دور المجموعات من بطولة دوري أبطال إفريقيا السبب الحقيقي لأزمة الملعب الذي سيحتضن المباراة في الساعات القليلة الماضية.

ويلتقي الأهلي والمريخ في الجولة الخامسة من مباريات المجموعة الأولى والتي من المفترض أن تقام أحد يومي 18 أو 19 مارس الجاري.

هذه المباراة تعتبر على أرض المريخ ولكن الفريق السوداني يخوض كل مبارياته على ملعب “الأهلي وي السلام” منذ بداية تلك المرحلة لعدم جاهزية ملعبه وفقًا لاشتراطات الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القادم “كاف”.

وخرجت اليوم الكثير من الأنباء حول طلب المريخ من الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم نقل المباراة إلى السودان نظرًا للمنافسة مع الأهلي على بطاقة التأهل إلى دور الثمانية ولعبها في ملعب “الجوهرة الزرقاء” معقل نادي الهلال.

ولكن أصدر المريخ بيانًا رسميًا يؤكد من خلاله أنه خاطب الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم بإيقاف جميع إجراءات نقل المباراة عن ملعبها الحالي.

وتواصل “btolat.com” مع نائب رئيس نادي المريخ، عادل أبو جريشة، لتوضيح سبب اللغط الذي حدث، وقال: “كل ما في الأمر أن هناك نائبًا آخر في مجلس الإدارة وقد أرسل خطابًا من خلال الاتحاد السوداني لكرة القدم بطلب نقل المباراة”.

وتابع: “هناك 4 نواب في المجلس منهم أنا، وأنا المختص بالشؤون الرياضية ولم أكن أعرف شيئًا عن هذا الخطاب ولكن فور علم رئيس النادي بالأمر خاطب الاتحاد الإفريقي لإيقاف القرار واستمرار المباراة في مصر”.

وأضاف: “إقامة المباراة في مصر هو قرار من رئيس مجلس إدارة المريخ، حازم مصطفى، وإذا كان هناك أي تغيير سيكون منه”.

ورد حازم مصطفى رئيس المريخ في تصريح مقتضب على الأزمة من خلال “btolat.com”، وقال: “تعليقي الوحيد عن هذا الأمر، بأننا سنلعب مباراة الأهلي في قاهرة المعز، أرضنا وأحبابنا وأهلنا”.

Goals from Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho gifted Thomas Tuchel’s men a comfortable lead before substitute Kelechi Iheanacho grabbed one back 15 minutes from full time.

Alas, the Nigerian’s strike wasn’t enough as Leicester came away eventual defeat – and many Foxes fans were left unimpressed with Perez’s performance as one of the factors.

The Spaniard, rated as the lowest performing Leicester player on the night by SofaScore (6.1), failed all of his dribble attempts and won just 3/14 ground duels.

As well as this, Perez conceded possession 13 times and missed a gaping chance to level the game – blasting the ball well over Chelsea’s crossbar.

As a result, many Foxes supporters criticised the 27-year-old on social media – find their verdicts down below.

Former Everton star Michael Ball believes that Tottenham Hotspur will rival the Toffees for the signing of Max Aarons from Norwich City this summer.

The right-back has been in superb form for the Canaries this season, with the club gaining promotion back to the Premier League.

Aarons has made 45 appearances in the Championship, scoring twice and registering five assists.

The 21-year-old is said to be at the centre of a transfer chase, as The Independent reports that he could leave for £30m this summer, due to an agreement he has with club.

Both Spurs and Everton have been linked with a potential swoop as they each look to bolster their defence.

Ball believes that Aarons has the ability to make the step up to Premier League level, and thinks that he has been identified as the Toffees’ number one target ahead of the transfer window, though he doubts the club will be dragged into a bidding war.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, he said: “Max has got that ability, he’s got that experience even though he’s so young. Everton are probably going to have a battle on their hands, there’s going to be many clubs looking at Max, abroad and in the Premier League.

“Tottenham are looking at him as well. Everton won’t want to go into a bidding war but I feel Max Aarons is probably Everton’s number one target if they can get the deal right for both parties.

“But I feel Everton might step away from the deal if it starts pushing up too high in a bidding war and look for other options but I feel Max is the right style and right player for our football club.”
