يبدو أنّ البوسني إيدين دجيكو، مُهاجم إيه سي روما، هو من سينتصر في معركته مع مدرب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم، البرتغالي باولو فونسيكا.
الثنائي حدثت بينهما مشاكل مؤخرًا، وهُناك أزمة تفاقمت داخل الجيالوروسي، بعدما قرر فونسيكا طرد الثنائي جانلوكا جومبر ومانولو زوبيريا، إداريي الفريق، بسبب إجراء 6 تبديلات في مباراة سبيزيا، وهو خطأ إداري وقع فيه المدرب البرتغالي.
فونسيكا يرى أن هذا الثنائي، السبب في الخطأ القانوني الذي قد يؤدي إلى معاقبة روما، لذلك قرر طردهما من الفريق، وهو ما أثار استياء مجموعة من اللاعبين على رأسهم إيدين دجيكو (طالع المزيد من التفاصيل).

وبحسب صحيفة “كورييري دي روما” الإيطالية، فإن إدارة نادي العاصمة الإيطالية تدرس بشكل قوي خيار إقالة فونسيكا، وخاصًة بسبب المشاكل التي حدثت بينه وبين اللاعبين.
وأوضحت الصحيفة أنّ إدارة روما أجرت اتصالات مُكثفة مع الإيطالي ماسيميليانو أليجري، المدير الفني السابق لـ يوفنتوس، لمعرفة موقفه من خلافة فونسيكا حتى نهاية الموسم الجاري.
أليجري الذي رحل عن يوفنتوس في نهاية موسم 2018/2019، لم يتول تدريب أي نادٍ مُنذ ذلك الحين، بعد التتويج بالدوري الإيطالي في خمس مُناسبات مع السيدة العجوز.
Ayoze Perez joins Leicester City from Newcastle United in one of the most surprising deals of the summer to date.
The £30m fee spent by Leicester is questionable considering it’s fair to ask what they’ve actually bought for that price.
That’s not a question of Perez’s ability, as the diminutive playmaker has shown over many years at Newcastle that he possesses both the quality and grit to succeed at Premier League level.
No, the doubts arise more in search of the answer to an even more pertinent question: what are they signing him for?
While boasted qualities that eluded the majority of his less technically gifted teammates, the lingering question that has hung over the Spaniard has always concerned where he fits into the attack.
And with that, it’s difficult to understand why Brendan Rodgers has opted to spend such a huge sum of money to bring him to the King Power Stadium.

The forward has played a variety of different positions, from right to left wing, number 10, second striker and even as a number 9. There’s no doubt he’s got the attributes to succeed in any of these roles, but Leicester are a side who boast tremendous and, crucially, young talent that you’d assume a progressive manager like Rodgers would want to exploit and develop.
Harvey Barnes, James Maddison, Demarai Gray, Mark Albrighton and potentially Youri Tielemans – should he return to Leicester in a reported £40m deal – could be in contention to occupy the starting three spots behind a striker, most likely Jamie Vardy, so it’s difficult to envisage where Perez fits into the squad.
Perhaps he will merely be a squad player but, given the size of his price-tag, it seems that he will be much more than a body to bolster squad depth.
With that said, it might be time for Jamie Vardy to look over his shoulder in fear of his place in the starting XI rather than to watch his teammate thread a through ball into his path.

Vardy has typically thrived in a counter-attacking side.
This isn’t a criticism of his ability on the ball, nor his final product or creativity, it’s simply fitting of his finest attributes – his pace and goal scoring instinct.
He thrives when running in behind and exploiting space, running directly at goal, the sort of thing he did relentlessly under Claudio Ranieri. The way Rodgers likes to play, however, won’t necessarily allow for this to happen.
Naturally, it’s pertinent to acknowledge that the Northern Irish manager enabled Vardy to rediscover his form shortly after he replaced Claude Puel. Spaces were suddenly prised open for the lightning-quick forward to exploit and he scored 10 goals in 11 Premier League games to finish the 2018/19 season.
But at 32 years old Vardy is moving towards the back end of his career and a contingency plan is needed to prepare for life after the Foxes legend, one which Perez may well be at the centre of.
Rodgers has been renowned throughout his managerial career in the top flight for playing short, incisive and attractive football.
He led Swansea to the Premier League with it and immediately caught the eye with his brave style, one which was later lauded by Luis Suarez, per Sports Mole, after he accepted the Liverpool job: “They always tried to play football with short-pass combinations and didn’t care what zone of the field they were at.”
He came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League with Liverpool and won a double treble with Celtic while adhering to his possession-based principles. He appears to believe in this approach and is refining it with every year that goes by.
Vardy doesn’t fit the remit as well as the former Newcastle star, which could see the fresh recruit adopting a centre-forward role in the side, where he can carry his team up the pitch, dribble past players, hold up the ball, create and score.
Perez can combine with midfield options effectively as well, and his stats suggest he enjoys this side of the game. Last season he proved to be far more involved with overall team play, registering 779 league passes compared to Vardy’s 416, and averaging 21.05 passes per game to the Englishman’s 12.24.
Perez also completed more key passes per game on average with 1.2, while the former non-league star completed just 0.9. This has been achieved despite playing in a team finishing lower in the table.
The stats points towards a fundamental stylistic difference between the two players, one which will at least offer Rodgers a fresh option in attack.

Yes, Perez’s position in attacking midfield certainly contributed to the Newcastle man’s involvement in build-up play, but his side were also adopting a very pragmatic style under Benitez, so it can’t all be explained by positional differences.
Quite frankly, the Spaniard has a very different way of helping his team up the pitch.
Who knows, the two forwards may form a great partnership, and with Leicester in a rebuilding phase, there are certainly times when Vardy’s fantastic strike rate, pace and hunger will be required, but the club’s long-term future under Rodgers looks set to champion neat and complete players like Perez, Maddison and, if Leicester fans’ dreams are turned into reality, Tielemans as well.
It’s hard to see how the Spaniard will displace some of Leicester’s finest young talents, but with Vardy ageing – though showing little sign of it – perhaps this signing adds a weapon to Rodgers’ armoury that could see the veteran phased out.

ووصف ديفيز الخطوة في أول مقابلة له منذ انضمامه إلى ليفربول بأنها “فرصة كبيرة” ويتفق كلوب مع اللاعب البالغ من العمر 25 عامًا.
وأستطرد الألماني: “لسنا بحاجة لمشاهدة فيلم من أفلام هوليوود لمشاهدة مثل هذا النوع من القصص، فمن الممكن أيضًا أن تراها في كرة القدم”.
وواصل: “أمس بريستون، ليفربول اليوم، هذه قصة جميلة ولا أطيق الانتظار لبدء العمل معهما”

Liverpool fans on Twitter are buzzing after it was announced that Alberto Moreno had signed for La Liga outfit Villarreal.
The 26-year-old hasn’t been a popular figure at the club in recent years due to his poor defensive performances.
The Spaniard eventually lost his spot to Andy Robertson who has been a revelation since joining Liverpool.
The Scot provided 11 assists in the Premier League last season, and his good performances have meant that Moreno didn’t really get a sniff as he appeared just twice in the top flight last term.
The left-back became a disposable member of Jurgen Klopp’s side, so he was allowed to leave this summer when his contract expired.
The Spain international left Merseyside at the end of last month and now his next destination has been confirmed.
He will be returning to his home country to turn out for Villarreal next season.

Leeds United have received some positive news on the injury front with Kemar Roofe only expected to be on the sidelines for the next four weeks.
Roofe had to be replaced in his team’s pre-season clash with Western Sydney Wanderers at the weekend, which the Championship side won 2-1.
There was a concern that the ankle injury could keep the striker out of action for an extended period.

However, Leeds, via an official statement, have claimed that Roofe will be available in around a month as he only picked up a sprain.
The attacker is likely to miss out against Bristol City, Nottingham Forest, Wigan Athletic and Brentford in the early stages of the new Championship campaign.
However, he could return for the trip to Stoke City on August 24.
Leeds fans have since taken to social media to express their frustration over the the 26-year-old’s latest injury setback, and that’s hardly any surprise given his important to the Whites last season.
The former West Brom attacker scored 14 Championship goals during an injury-stricken campaign and his absence will undoubtedly be felt during the early stages of the season.

Speaking to BBC Sport, ex-Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has urged his former club to allow Paul Pogba to leave this summer.
What did he say?
Reports in recent weeks have suggested that Real Madrid are very keen on taking him to Spain after the France World Cup winner declared that he wanted a “new challenge” earlier this summer.
Now, Schweinsteiger has insisted that United should only have players who are totally committed to the cause and that they shouldn’t stand in the way of someone who had expressed a desire to leave.

He said: “If a player wants to leave the club, you shouldn’t stop him. You need players who are 100% into the club and care about the club, that’s the only way you can survive at the top level and have success. Paul is a great player, he is just looking for a team where he can play the same style that he does with the France national team, so if you give him that kind of team around him, he would be happy at United.”
Commitment
As Schweinsteiger says, there’s no doubting that Pogba’s abilities on the football pitch can be second-to-none. The Frenchman can turn a game on its head like he famously did against Manchester City at the Etihad in April 2018. But at United, those instances have been few and far in between.
Had the 26-year-old not come out and said he wanted to leave, then there would be no conversation over whether Pogba should be allowed to go. In a largely indifferent campaign for both himself and his team, the midfielder still managed 16 goals and 11 assists; not bad for someone who came under heavy criticism.

But the moment he admitted it could be time to move on from Old Trafford, it was in United’s best interests to allow him to walk out the exit. Having players still in the team who have publicly suggested that they don’t want to be there does nothing for team morale, and effectively becomes an unnecessary pantomime. The Red Devils would do well to heed Schweinsteiger’s words this summer.
Having arrived as a highly promising prospect from Legia Warsaw, Krystian Bielik’s career at Arsenal hasn’t exactly panned out as he would have hoped.
The 21-year-old has spent the majority of his time out on loan or playing for Arsenal’s academy sides, but made it clear earlier this summer that he wasn’t interested in returning to youth team football.
Now, the club have confirmed that Bielik will be joining Derby County on a permanent basis after spending the entirety of the last campaign on loan at Charlton.
After hearing about the decision to let Bielik go, Arsenal fans took to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the matter and there was certainly an air of division about it.

Some Gunners supporters felt that getting a reported £10m for the Polish ace is a good piece of business by the club, and urged them to reinvest the money immediately.
Others however were far more upset about seeing Bielik leave, and even suggested that the north London side would come to “regret” the decision in the near future.
