أعلن الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم، تعديل بند زيادة عدد التغييرات المسموح بها، لتصبح 5 بدلًا من 3، في مباريات دوري الدرجة الأولى.

وأكد الاتحاد في بيان رسمي عبر موقعه الإلكتروني، أن مجلس إدارة الـEFL “الاتحاد الإنجليزي”، وافق على زيادة العدد المسموح به من التغييرات لتصبح 5 بدلًا من 3، بعد التشاور مع الأندية.

وسيبدأ العمل بهذا التعديل، بداية من يوم الجمعة المقبلة، للفترة المتبقية من موسم 2020/2021.

-وتقوم الأندية الدرجات الأدنى بضم 9 لاعبين بدلاء في تشكيل المباراة، مع السماح لنزول 5 لاعبين منهم إلى أرض الملعب.

-بينما أندية الدرجة الأولى والثانية، تقوم بضم 7 لاعبين بدلاء، مع السماح لدخول 5 لاعبين منهم إلى أرض الملعب.

وبطبيعة الحال وحسب قانون الاتحاد الدولي، الـ5 تغييرات تتم خلال 3 توقفات فقط في المباراة.

ولن يكون هذا التعديل متاحًا بالنسبة للدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بعدما صوتت الأندية في أغسطس الماضي ضد السماح بتطبيق قانون الـ5 تغييرات في موسم 2020/2021.

ويعتبر الدوري الإنجليزي هو الدوري الأوروبي الوحيد الذي قرر عدم الاستمرار في نظام الـ 5 تغييرات، والذي تم استخدامه في نهاية الموسم الماضي، بعد العودة من فترة التوقف بسبب جائحة كورونا.

“Koulibaly’s contract expires in 2023, in 2021 there’s a €150m clause but Napoli do not need to sell, the president [Aurelio De Laurentiis] does not want to sell and the question doesn’t come up.”

The £75m spent by Liverpool on Virgil van Dijk is the current record for a defender, and the Red Devils would seemingly need to shatter that if they want to land the 27-year-old.

United must go all out

Even if he is the only player they sign this summer, United have to go all out in their pursuit of the former Genk man.

We’ve witnessed first hand just how impacting a dominant centre-back can be on the whole team through van Dijk’s arrival at Anfield, where the Dutchman completely transformed the Reds from a previously shaky team into a formidable outfit; he is a leading factor behind their back-to-back Champions League final appearances.

United have done a lot of things wrong in years gone by, but perhaps their biggest error was not starting their rebuild from the back and then moving forward; marquee signings such as Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez have been made, but they have had to play ahead of players such as Ashley Young, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo.

If Koulibaly does arrive, we could see a solid defensive foundation return to Old Trafford, and in turn a more confident attacking force due to the added security that would be injected in the team.

If he truly is their No.1 target, then United must do everything they can to land him.

Barcelona have rejected an £18m bid for Andre Gomes from West Ham, according to Sky Sports News.

What’s the word then?

West Ham are keen to add depth and quality to their midfield, but have seen an offer for all-action midfielder Gomes rejected.

The Hammers have made an £18m bid that’s been turned away by Barcelona, who are holding out for £25m-£35m for the Portuguese international.

Manuel Pellegrini’s club remain interested despite the rejection, and will ‘do their utmost’ in their attempts to bring the star to the London Stadium.

Gomes spent this current season on-loan at Everton and impressed in the heart of midfield, though his future looks destined to be away from Barcelona.

Naive transfer strategy could cost Hammers their man

The £18m bid was an optimistic one at best. Gomes has proven himself to be a very accomplished player who can mix it up with the best teams in the league, and Barcelona will have certainly paid attention to that.

Everton were able to loan him for a season, but the Catalan club will rightly be expecting a decent fee for their man and it’s naive to think they’ll budge for any cheaper. This is not solely down to their sheer valuation of the player, but also because of the average price of the English transfer market and the other potential suitors looking at Gomes.

The Portuguese star impressed at Everton and they want to bring him in as a permanent signing, but they’ll also have to compete with Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.

The approach to start low is a risky and potentially costly one for West Ham. It’s understandable to open proceedings with a lower bid than you’re willing to pay, but with the competition for the Barcelona man that exists, and the London Stadium most likely being the least attractive destination out of the three, it seems unwise for David Gold and David Sullivan not to make a statement by kicking off with a suitable bid.

If the Hammers are to get their man, they need to try and get the deal over the line quickly, especially with Tottenham having their focus on the Champions League final right now. West Ham’s approach won’t do them any favours, and if anything only sets up a summer-long bidding war for Gomes’ services.

West Ham United are hoping to sign Fabian Delph from Manchester City this summer, Football Insider report.

What’s the word?

Manager Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly a big admirer of the England international, who offers the ability to play at left-back or in midfield.

Delph’s current contract expires at the end of next season and he has struggled for game time in 2018-19.

He made just 11 Premier League appearances as City won the Premier League title and did not feature at all in the club’s final 15 outings, of which they lost just one.

Pep Guardiola’s side are reportedly willing to allow Delph to leave provided they receive an acceptable fee.

The 29-year-old has made a total of 89 appearances for City and has also won 18 caps for England.

He was included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for last summer’s World Cup, as the Three Lions reached the semi-finals.

No better than Masuaku

Arthur Masuaku has emerged as West Ham’s first-choice full-back in recent months.

But the signing of Delph is unlikely to challenge him too much.

Per WhoScored, the former Aston Villa man averages 2.1 tackles per game to Masuaku’s 2.5; 1.2 interceptions to the Hammers’ man’s 1.6 and 1.5 clearances to the 26-year-old’s 2.4.

Their comparison in attack is much of a muchness too; Delph has 0.2 more shots per game but has fewer key passes and dribbles.

Add to that the wage demands that will surely come with signing a Manchester City star and one concludes that Pellegrini should perhaps be looking elsewhere this summer, particularly as the Englishman is unlikely to start all that many games.

وعن فكرة ضم صالح جمعة الذي فسخ الأهلي التعاقد معه بالتراضي، قال : “(مش في دماغي)، أنا أثق في باتشيكو ولن أفرض عليه أحد، لابد من توفير نوعية جيدة للاعبين في النادي، وأنا لا أستطيع أن أضم لاعب يخرب غرفة الملابس”.

When looking back at the strangest Premier League signings over the last five years or so, Jordan Hugill’s arrival at West Ham United has to be up there.

The Hammers paid a reported £10m to sign the forward from Preston North End in the final hours of the 2018 January transfer window.

Hugill has only played 22 minutes of first-team football for the London club, though, and joined Middlesbrough on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

The 6 ft ace managed seven goals for Boro last term but is due back at West Ham this summer and will likely be hoping to battle for a first-team spot.

It was actually the striker’s 27th birthday on Tuesday, which led to a message from West Ham’s Twitter account.

Now that Slaven Bilic has been appointed the manager of West Brom, the club can finally begin preparing for next season.

It’s been a long three months since Darren Moore was sacked but there are now finally positives to be had after the former West Ham boss walked through the doors.

A big rebuilding job could be on the cards at Albion this summer with up to five players potentially leaving the club according to Luke Dowling.

But with Bilic now in the hot seat, what tactics can Baggies fans expect? Here are two potential formations he may utilise.

Plan A: Four-man defence

During the Croatian’s early tenure at West Ham he played with a 4-2-3-1 formation, operating with two wingers and an attacking midfielder.

If the 50-year-old puts this plan into place it would be considerably different from what they were used to in the back end of the campaign.

After Harvey Barnes left there was a lack of creative midfielders but if Vincent Thill arrives, a player who has been the subject of interest, it could help inject some much-needed purpose into the midfield.

Also in this line up are Liam Lindsay, a defender who has caught their eye according to The Scottish Sun. He may play alongside Ahmed Hegazi who with a proven Premier League manager may now stick around despite the club needing to cut back.

This is a system that worked well for Bilic, as he managed to secure a 2-1 win against Manchester City at the Etihad when in charge of the Hammers

Plan B: Three-man defence

A plan that didn’t go so well at the Hammers was a three-man defensive system which Bilic started to utilise in his second season.

This will be a familiar system for Albion who played in a similar fashion at times under Darren Moore. However, it was rather unconvincing with the Baggies lacking many players who could actually play in the roles the formation required.

Caretaker boss Jimmy Shan also put this system in place when he was given the reins so there’s a possibility that it could return next term.
