O CSA começou a partida com tudo e conseguiu abrir o placar logo aos cinco minutos de jogo. Felipe Augusto cruzou da esquerda, Barcelos bateu e Diogo Silva espalmou. No rebote, Rodrigo Rodrigues chutou com força e balançou as redes.

Logo depois, Ernandes recebeu livre de marcação e soltou uma bomba para defesa do goleiro do Galo. Em seguida, Lucas Barcelos arriscou da meia lua e a bola bateu no travessão. Pouco tempo depois, Gabriel bateu de longe e Diogo Silva mandou para escanteio. No fim da etapa inicial, Diego Torres mandou na segunda trave e Gum cabeceou com estilo e a bola foi no travessão.

A segunda etapa começou mais norma, sem grandes chances para as equipes. O CRB buscava ter mais presença no ataque e ao CSA aproveitava os contragolpes principalmente pelo lado direito.

Racic has impressed in glimpses for the Baggies, with two assists next to his name from eight Championship appearances, and more will be expected of the Serbian as the season drags on and Corberan needs to make full use of his camp.

Other faces have also joined the West Midlands club temporarily in the form of Lewis Dobbin, Mason Holgate and Paddy McNair, who will all be expected to play their part in West Brom’s attempt to win promotion.

All three new players have found minutes hard to come by since they arrived onto the scene though, with Dobbin only used off the bench sparingly whilst McNair only made his debut for the Baggies recently, but the ex-Manchester United man did at least keep a clean sheet during his first Championship outing for the second tier outfit.

Unfortunately, he did pick up an injury knock in the match after that promising league debut, but he will hope he can go on to be remembered fondly away from this unfortunate development, much like this ex-loan star who very much used his loan stint at West Brom as a stepping stone to stardom.

Before winning himself a move to Atletico Madrid this summer away from Chelsea, Conor Gallagher first began to properly make a name for himself in the men’s game during an impressive spell with West Brom back in 2020.

Gallagher would pick up two goals and two assists from 30 Premier League contests when on the books of the relegated side, with his value during this loan switch peaking at £9.9m when looking at the table above.

Yet, just a year on, the midfielder’s value would skyrocket up to £20m, with the Chelsea youth product starring away from Stamford Bridge once more at Crystal Palace, where he would pick up 13 goal contributions in all competitions before finally breaking into the first team at the Blues.

Tottenham Hotspur are now preparing to lodge a bid for a Premier League youngster who’s “going to be a star”, according to a report.

Speaking to Spurs News, transfer insider Graeme Bailey recently detailed that signing a left-sided defender is likely to be Ange Postecoglou’s main target in the January transfer window, saying:

“From what I’m hearing, I think especially now a left-sided centre-back looks to be the priority because that’s the area they are most short in. They cannot afford another major injury there.”

However, it is clear that Postecoglou is keen to bolster his squad in a number of other areas too, with Manchester City winger Jack Grealish now on the radar, while Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson has also been linked with a switch to N17.

A number of players are clearly being considered by Postecoglou, and one of the Premier League’s breakout stars could potentially be in line for a move to the capital as well if reports from Spain are to be believed.

Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte, who is currently on loan at Leicester City, has now emerged as a subject of interest for Tottenham, with the club willing to fight to ensure they win the race for his signature.

The report states that a Spurs bid is currently being prepared, with the Seagulls apparently willing to let the 19-year-old leave for a fee of €50m (£41m), amidst interest from several other clubs, including current employers Leicester.

At the moment, Buananotte is enjoying his time on loan at Leicester, and it is clear to see why, given that he has made a flying start to the Premier League campaign, recording five goal contributions in his opening nine games.

Some members of the media have tipped the midfielder to go on to great things, with talkSPORT’s Jack Johnson suggesting that he is “going to be a star” after an impressive performance earlier this season.

The starlet’s ability going forward could make him a perfect fit in a Postecoglou system, with Spurs recently being praised for their “entertaining” and attacking style of play by former striker Dimitar Berbatov.

Not only that, but the Leicester loanee is also more than capable of pitching in defensively, placing in the 99th percentile for tackles per 90 and the 98th percentile for blocks per 90 compared to his positional peers over the past year.

Should Buonanotte become available at some point in the future, then Spurs should undoubtedly pursue his signature, however it would not be a surprise if Brighton hardened their stance on letting him leave if he continues to impress in a Leicester shirt.

This season was supposed to be the year Arsenal finally got over the line in the Premier League after two campaigns of coming painfully close.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t look like it’s going to be the case at the moment, as a combination of injuries, suspensions, a brutal schedule and perhaps most consequential of all, poor performances have left Mikel Arteta’s side nine points off Liverpool in top spot.

It’s been a season to forget so far for more than a handful of the Gunners stars, including the usually clutch Leandro Trossard, who’s looked nothing like the player of the last 18 months and is now set to spend some time on the sidelines due to an injury he picked up on international duty.

However, that may be the least of his worries, as recent reports have also linked the club with a sensationally gifted attacker who could well be his upgrade.

According to a recent report from Caught Offside’s Daily Briefing, Arsenal are one of several sides interested in signing AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic.

Alongside the Gunners, the report has also revealed that fellow Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester United are keen to bring the former Chelsea man back to these shores.

This added competition is far from ideal for the North Londoners, and on top of that, the Rossoneri are supposedly after £54m for their £81k-per-week man, which is a considerable increase on the £20m they paid for him in July 2023.

It would be a complicated and costly transfer to get over the line, but given Pulisic’s ability and recent form, it is likely worth pursuing, especially as he could be an ideal Trossard upgrade.

How Pulisic compares to Trossard

Across his career to date, Pulisic has shown that he’s capable of playing in multiple positions to an impressive level, and while he’s played off the right more than anywhere else, left wing is a clear second.

So, given the importance of Bukayo Saka for Arsenal, the left is almost certainly where he’d play in North London, meaning one of his primary competitors for a place in the side would be Trossard, but how do they stack up against one another?

Well, from a pure output perspective, it’s the American “magician”, as described by sports writer Al Butler, who comes out ahead, as from the start of last season he’s scored 22 goals and provided 16 assists in just 65 appearances, which equates to a goal involvement every 1.71 games.

In contrast, the former Brighton & Hove Albion ace has scored 19 goals and provided three assists in 61 games, which comes out to a far less impressive goal involvement every 2.77 games on average.

Is it just as one-sided of comparison when we take a look under the hood at their underlying numbers? It is indeed, as in the vast majority of underlying metrics, the “world-class” Milan ace, as dubbed by USMNT legend Alexi Lalas, comes out comfortably ahead.

Ultimately, not only does Pulisic have Trorssard comfortably beaten when it comes to their raw output, but he has substantially better underlying numbers to boot, making it crystal clear that he would, in fact, be an upgrade over the Belgian.

Therefore, even if it proves to be complicated and costly, Arsenal should do what they can to bring the American international to the Emirates in 2025 before one of their rivals beats them to him.

وأفاد فنربخشة: “كان هذا استفزازًا مخططًا له (من قبل بوروك) وكجزء من هذه الخطة، تصرف بوروك كما لو أنه تعرض لإطلاق نار وسقط على الأرض بطريقة احترافية، وقد تم توثيق كلماته وأفعاله غير المحترمة على الفيديو”.

وأضاف: “من الواضح للعامة عبثية أن يُلقي شخص ما نفسه أرضًا فورًا بعد أن لُمس أنفه، ويتلوى لثوانٍ، ومن الجليّ أن ميل هذا الشخص للسقوط أرضًا، كما شوهد خلال أيام لعبه، لا يزال مستمرًا في مسيرته التدريبية، مما يُظهر أن هذا سلوك تتميز به شخصيته”.

وأثار مورينيو الجدل أكثر من مرة في موسمه الأول مع فنربخشة، حيث اتهمه جلطة سراي سابقاً بالإدلاء بتصريحات عنصرية.

وعُوقب مورينيو بالإيقاف أربع مباريات في وقت سابق من هذا الموسم، وهو الآن يواجه احتمالية الإيقاف مجددًا ولمدة أطول.
