According to reports in Croatia, via 24Sata, Wolves have made an offer of around €8m (£7m) to secure the signing of Marco Pasalic from Rijeka this summer.
With interest in Neto soaring as the window edges closer to its final weeks, there is no doubt the Old Gold will need to bring in another wide option, and it looks as though Pascalic is high on the list.

In comparison, Neto posted 11 goal contributions in the Premier League, while averaging 0.6 shots on target, registering seven big chances and succeeding with 1.9 dribbles per game.
These statistics show that the pair are fairly similar when it comes to attacking output, which means Pasalic could be a perfect replacement for Neto next season.
O’Neil clearly won't want to lose a talent like the Portuguese gem, but for £60m, it would provide a vital cash injection into the club which could allow the manager to bolster several other areas of his first-team squad.
Pasalic has still to enter his peak years but, having made appearances for Borussia Dortmund during the 2022/23 campaign, he clearly has the required ability to shine in a top-five European league.
He could certainly be a surprise addition to the Old Gold this summer, but the Croatian gem has proven he knows where the back of the net is, while also being able to generate chances for others in the final third.
If O’Neil can keep the likes of Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-Chan at the club, then Wolves will most likely finish higher than 14th place next term, no doubt about that.

Well, when it comes to the most important metric for centre-forwards, output, it's a little complicated. We cannot compare the two players based solely on their performances last season, as the former Newcastle United ace missed most of it due to his eight-month betting-related football ban.
However, if we use their previous two campaigns to give us a wider set of data to examine, it becomes quite clear that the Brentford star is superior in terms of goals and assists.
For example, over the last two years, the "remarkable" number nine, as manager Thomas Frank dubbed him, has scored 25 goals and provided seven assists in 52 appearances.
This means he has averaged a goal involvement every 1.62 games for two seasons running, and that is all the more impressive when you factor in that he started playing halfway through the 23/24 campaign with little to no genuine preparation.

وكان الفريق الأول بالنادي الأهلي قد استأنف تدريباته عصر اليوم الثلاثاء على ملعب التتش بالجزيرة، وذلك بعد انتهاء الراحة السلبية التي منحها الجهاز الفني للاعبين لمدة 24 ساعة.
يستعد الأهلي لمواجهة فريق فاركو في تمام الساعة الرابعة عصر غداً الأربعاء على استاد برج العرب بالإسكندرية، وتُعتبر المباراة مهمة للمارد الأحمر في سعيه نحو المنافسة على لقب الدوري، حيث يسعى الفريق لتحقيق الفوز وحصد النقاط الثلاث.
في مباراة مثيرة من ليالي دوري أبطال أوروبا، قلب فريق برشلونة الإسباني الطاولة على مُضيفه بنفيكا البرتغالي، وحول تأخره إلى فوز بنتيجة 5-4، وحسم تأهله مباشرة لدور الـ 16.
وجاءت مباراة برشلونة وبنفيكا، في إطار مباريات الجولة السابعة لمرحلة الدوري بدوري أبطال أوروبا، على ملعب “النور” معقل الفريق البرتغالي.

وعزز بافليديس تقدم بنفيكا، بعدما حاول الحارس تشيزني تشتيت الكرة لكنه فشل في التصدي لها، لتسكن الشباك، وأكدت تقنية الفيديو صحته بالدقيقة 22.
وبخطأ في الخروج من تشيزني، يحصل بنفيكا على ضربة جزاء، ويسجل منها بافليديس ثالث أهدافه في الدقيقة 30.
وخلال الشوط الأول، أهدر جافي ولامين يامال ورافينها فرصًا مؤكدة لبرشلونة، وحسم بتقدم بنفيكا 3-1.
في الشوط الثاني، تمكن رافينها من تقليص الفارق بهدف لبرشلونة، بعد تصويبة من حارس بنفيكا وصلت للبرازيلي ليسدد برأسية مباشرة في الشباك بالدقيقة 64.

وتحصل برشلونة على ضربة جزاء ثانية بعد خطأ من كاريراس على لامين يامال، وتوجه ليفاندوفسكي للتسديد ونجح في تسجيلها بالدقيقة 78.
وبتوقيت قاتل، اقتنص البلوجرانا التعادل، حيث لعب فيرمين لوبيز ركنية لبرشلونة وأرسل كرة وصلت لبيدري الذي لعب كرة عرضية رائعة باتجاه إريك جارسيا ويسدد رأسية في الشباك معلنًا الهدف الرابع بالدقيقة 87.
ولم يكتفٍ برشلونة بالتعادل، وتقدم بهدف خامس، الهدف جاء بعد تدخل من الحارس تشيزني على لاعب بنفيكا، ليطالب أصحاب الأرض بركلة جزاء وسط تجاهل الحكم، لتتحول إلى هجمة مرتدة، واستغلها رافينها مسجلًا الهدف الخامس القاتل.
وتدخلت تقنية الفيديو التي أقرت بصحة هدف رافينها وعدم وجود ضربة جزاء لصالح بنفيكا.
